2

Click the Integrations tab and then select Microsoft Teams.

Once Glide has access to your Microsoft account, you will need to enter the name of the team that you want to send messages to in the Team name field.

Send message to Teams channel

The Send message to Teams channel action is used to post a message in a channel within your Microsoft team. Just tell Glide which channel to send the message in and what the message text will be. You can send the same message every time, or set up a dynamic message by first creating a Template Column in the Data Editor.

The action can be added to a Component that supports Actions (e.g., a Button component), added to a workflow in the Workflow Editor, or after a Form is submitted.

1

Click on the plus (+) sign in the Components panel and select the Component you want to trigger the action.

2

In the General tab on the right side of the Layout Editor, navigate to the Actions section and search for Send message to channel.

3

Select the icon and descriptive text to use in your app.

4

Add the channel name where the message should be sent.

5

Add the message text. This can be a custom value or a dynamic message from a template column.

6

You can optionally add Conditions for certain criteria to be met before a user can trigger this action.

7

Exit the configuration to save your settings.
