Trigger IFTTT Applets using webhooks

IFTTT is an automation tool that connects various apps and services. With IFTTT's integration in Glide, you can trigger IFTTT Applets, allowing you to automate actions between Glide and other connected apps. Automations can make your app more powerful by streamlining your repetitive tasks.

You may need to upgrade your plan. Browse Glide's plans and find the right fit for you.

Adding and Configuring the Action

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab and then select IFTTT Webhook.

  2. Click the Add button.

  3. Next, log into the IFTTT Webhook Dashboar.

  4. Select Documentation and copy your IFTTT Webhook key.

  5. Back in Glide, enter this API Key in your IFTTT Webhook Integration settings.

Trigger IFTTT Applet

The Trigger IFTTT Applet feature lets you send data from Glide to your IFTTT applet. This can be added to a Component that supports Actions or added to a workflow in the Workflow Editor.

  1. Select the component you'd like to add the action to. Remember, this must be a component that supports actions.

  2. Search for the Trigger IFTTT applet action or navigate to Integrations -> IFTTT Webhook -> Trigger IFTTT applet.

  3. Name the action.

  4. Choose an icon.

  5. Enter the Event Name. This should be the name of the IFTTT event to trigger.

  6. Add additional values as needed.

  7. Click away to exit the configuration.
