Render URLs and HTML into images.

Urlbox is a platform that enables you to create PDF files and images from HTML. With the UrlBox integration, you can create PDF files and images in Glide.

Adding and Configuring the Integration

  1. In Glide, click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the Integrations menu, choose Urlbox and select Add.

  3. Next, you will need to set your UrlBox Publishable Key and Secret Key. To find this information, sign in to your UrlBox dashboard.

  4. Input the Publishable Key and Secret Key into your Glide integration. They will save automatically.

You are now ready to start using UrlBox with Glide.

Features

The Urlbox integration has two features:

  1. Generate PDF

  2. Generate image

Generate PDF

The Generate PDF action allows you to create a PDF file from HTML.

  1. In the Data Editor, create a column to store the HTML and a column to store a link to the generated PDF.

  2. Select the component you'd like to add the action to. Remember, this must be a component that supports actions.

  3. Search for the Generate PDF action or navigate to Integrations -> urlbox -> Generate PDF.

  4. Name the action.

  5. Choose an icon.

  6. For HTML, choose the column where your HTML is saved or enter a custom value.

  7. Optionally, add custom CSS.

  8. Optionally, add a file name. If left blank this will be generated automatically.

  9. Choose which column should store the resulting Uploaded PDF.

  10. Click away to exit the configuration.

Generate image

The Generate image action allows you to create an image file from HTML.

  1. In the Data Editor, create a column to store the HTML and a column to store a link to the generated image.

  2. Select the component you'd like to add the action to. Remember, this must be a component that supports actions.

  3. Search for the Generate image action or navigate to Integrations -> urlbox -> Add Generate image.

  4. Name the action.

  5. Choose an icon.

  6. For HTML, choose the column where your HTML is saved or enter a custom value.

  7. Optionally, add custom CSS.

  8. Enter the width for the image in pixels.

  9. Enter the height of the image in pixels.

  10. Optionally, add a file name. If left blank this will be generated automatically.

  11. Choose which column should store the resulting Uploaded image.

  12. Click away to exit the configuration.
