Introducing: Intelligent Automation Certification

Glide’s new Intelligent Automation Certification is now available. This certification teaches you how to build powerful AI agents by combining AI and workflows in Glide. You'll learn to design, deploy, and scale custom agents that fit into real business operations and automate time-consuming manual work.

If you've taken Glide's other Certifications (Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3), you've learned now how to make custom software without code. The Glide AI Certification teaches how to leverage AI to build powerful business software with native AI capabilities and closely integrate it with your business tools.

Intelligent automation adds a new layer, using both AI and automated workflows to create custom agents that can do work independently.

There is a lot of hype around AI agents, and for good reason. They can automate work and build efficiency for businesses at a scale that wasn’t possible before. However, most off-the-shelf agents are minimally customizable and require a lot of adaptation to their rigid systems. 

This certification teaches you to build custom agents and tailor them around existing business practices, inserting AI and automation directly where they are most needed. After taking it, you’ll be able to design agents that automate manual work and solve real operational challenges for your business, like data analysis, document processing, and cross-platform automation.

What’s in the Intelligent Automation Certification

In this course, we'll teach you how to build custom agents using Glide, either for your own business or as an agency building for other businesses. Here’s what’s covered:

1. Workflows

The first chapter introduces foundational Glide features that power your agents. You’ll learn about Workflows, cover the different trigger types, and lay the groundwork for the other sections of the course.

2. Understanding Agents

In the next chapter, you’ll learn about AI agents and gain an understanding of how the industry is thinking about and implementing them. You’ll also take a deeper look at AI prompt engineering while building agents. Finally, this section takes a look at data standardization to help structure your data better for AI.

3. Error Handling

Reliability is key to intelligent agents. In this chapter, you’ll learn how to test and build in smart error handling so your agents stay operational without constant human oversight. Strategic error handling will help increase the reliability of your agent so it can be more self-sufficient and surface issues appropriately for humans to handle. 

4. Intelligent Automation

The final section brings everything together to build and deploy fully operational agents. You’ll learn about planning, testing, and publishing your new agents.
