This course covers everything you need to know about how to build advanced, intelligent apps with Glide AI. It takes you through a general understanding of AI and how best to leverage it for building custom software applications to solve business needs. You’ll learn to integrate AI into Glide apps, select models, engineer prompts, and explore AI capabilities through hands-on examples.
Since the field of AI is in a period of rapid growth and change, the course will be updated to reflect new developments as they arise.
The Building AI Business Software certification is designed for anyone who wants to know more about building with AI and no code, whether for themselves or for clients.
Businesses creating custom apps on Glide should take the Certification to figure out where AI can be more beneficial for their business—and decide whether you want to create AI workflows yourself or hire someone to add automation to your existing Glide software.
For Glide Experts and those building apps professionally, AI Certification will eventually be a requirement of being fully certified in Glide and will need to be achieved in order to gain and maintain Glide Certified Expert status. You can choose to take either the primary Certification course or the AI certification course first.

The final section puts what you’ve just learned into practice. You’ll work through practical examples of how AI can be used in various business tools, including templates you can work hands-on with. Then, you’ll dive into two real-life examples of businesses using Glide AI: Mintleads for hyper-scaling their sales team and Build-360 for providing faster, more detailed reports for construction clients.
This section also includes information on Glide’s brand-new AI Custom component, an AI development tool that you can use to generate new custom components that don’t exist in the Glide builder, without writing any code.
