New Workflow Triggers & Steps
You can now trigger workflows from Slack or manual actions inside of your app, chain them together, and pause for human input when needed—giving you more control and flexibility when automating work in Glide.
New Triggers
- Slack Trigger: Kick off a workflow when a Slack message is posted—great for syncing team activity across tools.
- Manual Trigger: Let users start workflows manually from actions in your app, like pressing a button or submitting a form. Note: This Trigger can only be used with the Trigger Workflow Step.
New Steps
- Trigger Workflow: Chain workflows together by triggering one from another—perfect for building modular logic and reusable automations. Note: This Step will not work with the App Interaction Trigger.
- Human-in-the-Loop: Pause a workflow to collect human input or approval. Share loop links with users to gather responses, or prompt them via Slack to choose from preset options.
- Improved mobile layout by fixing horizontal padding issues in collection views.
- Enhanced template sharing by allowing users to copy private templates across different organizations (with appropriate permissions).
- Refined desktop time picker experience, including overlay support and thinner scrollbars.
- Added Agenda view and made Agenda items clickable in the Calendar component.
- Optimized fullscreen image viewer by loading larger images.
- Enabled faster blank app creation from the create app modal.
- Fixed z-index issue causing the icon search dropdown to be partially hidden.
- Resolved crashes from missing columns, invalid source templates, and empty chart rows.
- Corrected timezone handling in both SQL columns and native date pickers.
- Fixed misalignment in charts with large negative computed values.
- Ensured consistent layout by reserving space for title profile images even when unset.
- Memoized date picker values to avoid unnecessary re-renders.
- Corrected hover behavior for Big Number components on accent-colored backgrounds.
- Allowed empty strings in title actions to avoid display issues.
- Fixed icon visibility in dark theme and renamed Tabs elements for clarity.
- Ensured team notifications are only sent to current organization members.
- Removed unintended horizontal padding in Tabs Container children.
- Fixed issue where the prompt box blocked clicks on sidebar items.
- Removed duplicate initial greeting on load.
- Improved billing modal layout for better mobile responsiveness.
- Fixed flexbox alignment in collection headers.
- Added 3-second recording delay for Safari (iOS and iPadOS) users to avoid missed audio.
