GlideOS is an AI software development platform for building internal business apps from a spreadsheet, a prompt, or a file. GlideOS gives teams the ability to collaborate on custom software faster than ever before. What used to take months with coding and weeks with no-code now takes minutes with GlideOS. GlideOS is a standalone product, completely separate from the original Glide platform (Glide Classic). This means GlideOS has its own plans and pricing, and will require a separate subscription to use. It is not accessible through the Glide Classic platform.

Plans on GlideOS start at $25 per month. We currently do not offer Free plans, or Annual plans, but they are coming soon. If you do not want to pay to try GlideOS, you can put your name on the waitlist for our Free plan. We'll notify you as soon as it becomes available. GlideOS is an agentic software development platform. It uses LLM tokens to build software and work with you. These tokens have been standardized in Glide as credits. GlideOS plans start with a baseline number of credits, and more credits are available for purchase if needed.

Your existing Glide apps will not be disrupted. GlideOS is separate from Glide Classic. Your existing Glide Classic apps will continue to function as before. If you choose to use the new GlideOS platform, your GlideOS apps will live in a separate account. They will not be able to share data, and we currently have no tool or technique for seamlessly migrating your Glide Classic apps to GlideOS. With GlideOS, you are essentially starting fresh with a new platform, without affecting your Glide Classic apps in any way.

GlideOS platform and plans are optimized for building internal business applications and using your spreadsheets to create other software for work. However, GlideOS is also very capable of creating just about anything. GlideOS can produce apps that look great across all devices, so your teams in the field, in the office, and in HQ will have apps that look and feel great.

No, you do not need a spreadsheet to use GlideOS. You can start with a written prompt, a PDF, or even a screenshot to instruct the AI agent that will build your apps.
