Use Google Sheets as the data source for your Glide app.

Any plan can export a Google sheet and import the resulting .csv or .xlsx file into Glide. To sync with Google sheets, a paid Glide plan is required. Browse our plans to find the right fit for you.

Google Sheets is a cloud-based spreadsheet program that's similar to Excel. You can choose a spreadsheet from your Google account to serve as the Data Source for your Glide app.

How to connect Google Sheets with Glide

If you created your Glide account using your work email, you must create an associated Google account to integrate Google Sheets with Glide. To learn how to create a Google account using an email type that isn't Gmail, see Create a Google Account.

  1. From the dashboard, select New app.

  2. Name your app, select Mobile or Large Screen, then Continue.

  3. Select Google Sheets as the data source, then Continue.

  4. Sign in to your Google account.

  5. When prompted, select the file from Google Drive to use as your app's data source, then Select.

If your browser has cookies enabled, Google sign-in is only necessary the first time you use your Google account to create a Glide app.

Glide creates a starter app using your Google spreadsheet as the data source.
