Overview

What's included

  • Careers page: a second app for job seekers that lists your open roles with location and description. Candidates apply with their name, email, phone, a resume link or file (PDF or Word, up to 5 MB), and a cover note, and each application lands in the pipeline as a new applicant for that role. Paused and closed roles never show, and no candidate data is shown there.
  • Opening the careers page: your copy starts sign-in only, like every app in your Glide organization. Set the Careers app to Public in its share settings when you are ready to take applications. The staff app stays sign-in only.
  • Spam protection: the form checks every field, ignores bots that fill hidden fields or send instantly, accepts up to 5 applications per hour from one connection, and refuses repeat applications for the same role.
  • Roles: add a role, edit it, pause it, close it, or reopen it. Give each role a location and description for the careers page. Each role shows its candidate count and opens the candidate list filtered to that role.
  • Candidates: add and edit candidates with contact details, search by name or role, and filter by stage, department, or role. Applicants from the careers page show their resume and cover note.
  • Pipeline board: one column per stage. Move a candidate with the Move to menu on their card. Cards show days in the current stage and flag anyone who has waited 14 days or more.
  • Interviews: schedule an interview from a candidate's page with the type, time, length, interviewers, and a room or video link. The Interviews page lists what is coming up by day, what needs feedback, and what is done or canceled. Reschedule or cancel with a reason.
  • Feedback: after an interview, add feedback with a recommendation (Strong yes, Yes, No, or Strong no). It joins the notes timeline on the candidate's page and marks the interview complete.
  • Rejection reasons: moving someone to Rejected asks for a reason, and the reason shows on their page.
  • Hiring dashboard: open roles, total and active candidates, a funnel by stage, and average time to hire, counted from the application date to the hire date.

Sample data

33 fictional candidates across 8 roles in Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success: 6 open, 1 paused, and 1 closed. It includes 3 hires, 7 rejections with reasons, 9 upcoming interviews, 2 waiting for feedback, and interview notes for every stage each hire passed. Contact details are made up (example.com emails and 555 phone numbers). Sample dates move to the day you install, so the board, interviews, and dashboard look current. The store demo keeps its original sample dates, and its careers page is view-only.

Glide turns spreadsheets into beautiful, intelligent apps.
