The Choice component has a new layout for choices with just a few options. Here we made a simple tip calculator using Choice and the Math Column, that's super fast and easy to use!
First developed in 1968 at Brown University, Undo (and its nemesis, Redo) is now available in Glide. Experiment and iterate your app design more quickly, and erase mistakes with a flick of your fingers. Note that, for now, Undo only undoes changes to your app's layout & design, and not changes in the Data Editor.
Now you can display a bar chart that updates as users make changes in your app. Reply with a screenshot if you add one to your app!
Add some unpredictability to your app with our new Random sort. Shuffle lists, or use it to show details for a random row in your sheet.
You can now change column names in your sheet and Glide will just figure it out, without interrupting your app.
Glide's dark theme automatically activates depending on your computer's theme, otherwise you can turn off the lights in the help menu #madewithglide
If you bind multiple components to the same column in Add, Edit, or Form pages, you'll get better feedback
We've improved their discoverability and usability.
Perfect for guidebooks, conference apps, etc
Quickly preview cell values before assigning data to your components
In your app's privacy settings, you can now allow anyone to copy your app & sheet to create their own app.
Alphabetize employees, sort expense reports, create categorized inline collections, without spreadsheet magic and your data remains live and editable
For example, in a directory app you might want to collect all properties when adding a new employee, but only allow editing a few properties.
Mark editable components on Add, Edit, and Form screens as Required to ensure your apps collect exactly the data they need.
You can now choose whether to keep the same sheet or make a copy when duplicating an app. This is crucial for making 'admin' versions of apps that allow editing.
You can rename sheets (tabs) in your Google Sheet without resetting your screen configurations
Our Checkbox component is perfect for to-do lists, and it's featured in our new Attendance Tracker template
The Favorite component is now a heart rather than a toggle
Give context using Text, Images, Titles, and other display-only components
Our redesigned sidebar makes component configuration more approachable and fun to play with
