Team Chat

Team Chat gives a small team one place to talk instead of long email threads. Everyone signs in with their Glide account, so only people in your organization can read or post. It works on desktop and on phones, where the menu slides out with every channel, DM and your profile.

What you get

• Topic channels: #general for announcements, plus a channel for each project or team. Anyone can create a new one.
• Private DMs: 1:1 conversations that only the two people in them can read.
• Threads: reply to any message in a side thread so the channel stays easy to follow. The reply count shows under the original message.
• @mentions and unread badges: type @ to mention a teammate. The sidebar shows which channels and DMs have new messages, and messages that mention you are highlighted.
• Search: find any message across channels and your own DMs.
• Reactions and images: react with emoji and share an image by pasting its link.
• Profiles: name, title, photo and a short bio for each teammate.
• Sample team included: eight sample teammates, their conversations and a welcome DM show how it works. Clear them from Workspace settings when you invite your team.
