ShopOS
Real-time job tracking for make-to-order shops
Preview
Overview
What ShopOS solves
Small make-to-order manufacturers — metal fab shops, custom woodworkers, contract manufacturers — share a common headache: nobody knows where a job actually is without walking the floor and asking. ShopOS puts real-time job status in everyone's hands across four purpose-built apps.
The four apps
- Shop Floor — Operators pick their PIN at a shared kiosk, see their work-center queue, clock on/off each operation, and report units completed, scrap, and job-done status. No barcodes or login credentials required.
- Scheduler — Plant managers see every open job, work-center load (queued ops + estimated hours), and automatic late/at-risk flags. Drill into any job to reassign or reprioritize on the fly.
- Front Office — Order entry staff create jobs from POs, select a product template, and get a full five-step routing (Laser Cut → CNC Mill → Weld → Assembly → QC) generated automatically. Customer records are built in too.
- Owner Dashboard — Executives see live KPIs: on-time delivery %, WIP count and value, jobs late or at risk, average hours ratio, and scrap rate. An AI assistant answers plain-English questions like "What's our biggest bottleneck this week?"
Built for job shops
- Configured for typical fab-shop work centers out of the box (Laser Cut, CNC Mill, Weld, Assembly, QC/Inspection)
- PIN-based operator login — no smartphone or email required at the machine
- Priority 1–10 job ranking so urgent orders rise to the top
- Scrap and downtime tracking baked in from day one
