Overview
Who this is for
Owners and managers of hair salons with one to four locations who want bookings, clients, stylist targets, retail stock, and the end-of-day closeout in one place. Sign-in is required: only members of your Glide organization with access to the project can open the app.
What you get
Owner dashboard
The dashboard opens on today's date and today's chair schedule. Four cards show month-to-date revenue, services completed, retail revenue, and tips, compared with the same days of last month. Below them you see each stylist's month-to-date service revenue against their monthly target, the top services this month, the share of this month's clients who already have their next visit booked, and the share of completed appointments that included a retail sale. Pick a location to see every number for that site only.
Appointments and the day book
The List tab shows bookings by date with filters for location, status, and date, plus search by client, stylist, or service. The Day tab shows one column per stylist with the day's appointments on a time grid, filtered by location. To book, choose the location, client, stylist, and service. The price and end time fill in from the service, and the app refuses a booking that overlaps the stylist's other appointments.
Check out, reschedule, cancel, or no-show
From an appointment, Check out records the tip and any retail products. Products come from that location's stock, and the stock count goes down. Reschedule moves the appointment to a new date, time, or stylist at the same location, with the same double-booking check. Cancel asks for a reason, and No-show keeps the deposit and takes an optional note.
Clients
Add a walk-in or new client from the Clients page and edit contact details, home location, preferred stylist, style preferences, allergies, and notes on any profile. Each profile shows visit history, lifetime spend, and the next booked visit. Filter the client list by location or by who still needs to rebook.
Team and commissions
The team roster shows each stylist's role, location, commission rate, and monthly target. A stylist's page shows month-to-date service revenue, commission earned, progress toward the target, and recent appointments.
Retail inventory
Products show stock on hand, the reorder point, and a stock bar for each location. A banner lists items at or below their reorder point, and you can correct a stock count on the card.
Reports and daily closeout
Reports cover month to date for all locations or one: total revenue, service and retail revenue, tips, daily revenue by day, and the service mix. The closeout log lists each location's day as open or reconciled. Close out day adds up that location's completed tickets for the day and marks it reconciled. It waits until every appointment that day is checked out, canceled, or marked as a no-show.
AI action: Draft rebooking note
On a client's page, select Draft rebooking note. The AI reads the client's last five completed visits, the services they had, their style preferences, their preferred stylist, and whether a next visit is already booked. It writes a short, personal message from your salon (it uses your salon name and the client's location) that suggests when to come back. Edit the text in place, copy it, or select Regenerate for a new draft. If your organization is out of AI credits, the app says so and points you to the Glide dashboard to add credits.
Sample data
The template comes with a demo salon, Maison Lumière, with four San Francisco Bay Area locations, eight stylists, 24 services, 567 clients, and about 1,500 appointments: bookings from May to August 2026, with matching retail sales and daily closeouts. The salon name lives in one setting (salon_settings.salon_name), so changing it updates the dashboard and the AI notes. Replace the sample data with your own when you're ready.
About your data
This template stores client allergy notes, client payment history, and stylist commissions. Glide's user data rules allow this kind of information only in private apps on a paid plan.
