Glide's videos are so great! What's your secret? How do we make videos like yours?
We love creating clear, compelling videos that show Glide in its best light. We wanted to share some details about our video production process for anyone interested.
Our Video Process
We create all videos in-house, led by a full-time colleague (Jack!) who was one of our first employees. We view our videos as a vital part of our customer experience—as vital as features in Glide itself—so we wanted video production to be a core team activity, rather than outsourced.
David, our CEO, collaborates on the script with Jack to get the core message down. Then, our designers provide art direction to determine the look-and-feel of the visuals.
Jack shoots the video, and we hire contractors when we want to try novel shots or need expensive equipment. We work closely with the contractors to assimilate their techniques for future videos.
Jack does the voiceover, coloring, editing, motion graphics and other post-production. Finally, Jack and David review the video for final revisions, before we ship it.
