Overview

Take appointments from a link, run them from one calendar

Share one link. Customers choose what to book, a person or a space (or anyone available), and an open time from any phone. They don't need an account. You see every booking on one calendar, and you add walk-ins and phone bookings yourself.

Make it yours

Pick the starter closest to your business. Each one sets the names, the team or spaces, the appointment types, their lengths, and sample bookings in one step. You can rename and edit everything after.

  • General: a small studio with intro calls, standard appointments, follow-ups, and on-site visits.
  • Salon or barbershop: barbers, hair stylists, and a nail tech, with cuts, color, blowouts, manicures, walk-ins, and deposits.
  • Cleaning and home services: crews, longer jobs at the customer's address, and arrival windows.
  • Tutoring or coaching: tutors, online lessons, and each tutor's video meeting link.
  • Rooms or courts: customers book a court or a room by the hour, with no staff to pick.
  • Blank: no sample data.

Call your team Stylists, Crews, or Tutors, and call what customers book Services, Lessons, or Booking options. Set your hours, breaks, and days off, plus how much notice you need and how far ahead customers can book.

Examples

  • Consultants, designers, and advisors
  • Salons, barbers, and nail studios
  • Cleaners, repair crews, and other home services
  • Tutors, coaches, and music teachers
  • Courts, meeting rooms, and studios for rent
  • Property viewings, pickups, and drop-offs

What's included

  • Booking page: customers choose what to book, a person or a space (or anyone available), and an open time. Each step uses the names you set.
  • Calendar: see the day or the week by person or space. Add walk-ins and phone bookings, move a booking by dragging it on a computer or tablet, and mark it arrived, completed, no-show, or cancelled.
  • No double-booking: each booking holds the person or space for the full length plus any buffer time you set.
  • Reminders: the Today screen lists who needs a reminder. Tap WhatsApp, text, or email to open a message with the customer's private link and any video meeting link filled in.
  • Video meeting links: mark an appointment type as a video call, then add a personal meeting room link, such as a Zoom or Google Meet room, to each team member or to the appointment type. Customers see it on their confirmation, in their calendar event, and in your reminders. In-person and at-address bookings never show a link.
  • Time zones: when a customer is in a different time zone, the booking page shows your time and theirs.
  • Cancel and reschedule: customers change their own booking from their private link, up to a cutoff you choose. They can also add it to Google Calendar or another calendar app.
  • Home visits: for jobs at the customer's address, the booking page asks for the address and shows an arrival window.
  • Customers and reports: booking history, no-show counts, and private notes for each customer, plus your busiest days and hours, estimated revenue, and top appointment types.
  • Team access: the first person to open the app becomes the admin and can add other admins or hand the role to someone else. Add a team member's email to their profile, and they see only their own schedule.
  • Booking limits: choose how many upcoming online bookings one customer can hold at a time.

Before you start

  • After you install, open Book an Appointment, choose Share, and select Anyone can open. Customers can then book without signing in. The booking page shows open times only, never other customers' details.
  • Booking Manager doesn't send emails or texts automatically. You send each reminder from the app.
  • Prices and deposits are shown to customers for reference. Payment happens in person.
  • Booking Manager doesn't sync with Google Calendar or other calendars. Customers can add their own booking to their calendar, and video meeting links are links you paste in.
