Glide is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to own content from idea to impact. This is an end-to-end role. Meaning: you'll set the content and keyword strategy, produce the content (blogs, customer stories, social native posts, etc.), repurpose them for appropriate channels, work with designers to bring them to life, publish them, share them on social media and via email, and then measure what worked using measurement and analytics tools. You'll report on what's driving results and use that data to sharpen the next round of content.
You'll work closely with the rest of the marketing team and with teams across Glide, including product and engineering. Glide is a technical company building tools for technical and semi-technical audiences, so you'll need to get comfortable with our product and translate complex, technical ideas into content that's clear and useful for the people reading it.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain Glide's content and keyword strategy, grounded in what our audience actually searches for and needs
- Write blog posts, customer stories, and other core content that reflects Glide's voice and speaks to our ICP
- Own SEO and AEO for our content, from keyword research to on-page optimization to how our content shows up in AI-powered search and answer engines
- Repurpose content across formats: turn a blog post into a social thread, a customer story into a case study video script, and so on
- Publish and manage content across social channels, email, and the blog
- Work with designers to create the visual assets that go with blog posts, social content, and email campaigns
- Interview customers and turn their experiences into customer stories that show, not just tell, what Glide makes possible
- Track and report on content performance using PostHog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Peec AI, Graphite, Ahrefs, and similar tools, and use that data to inform what you create next
- Partner with the rest of the marketing team on campaigns, launches, and broader go-to-market work
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to source stories, technical details, and customer insight
- Stay current on AI tools relevant to content and marketing work, and bring new ones into the team's workflow where they make sense
Required skills & experience
- 3+ years in content marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
- A strong portfolio of published writing: blog posts, customer stories, or similar long-form content
- Working knowledge of SEO and keyword research, and familiarity with how AEO (answer engine optimization) is changing how content gets found
- Experience managing content distribution across social media and email, not just writing for a blog
- Comfort with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and PostHog, and the ability to turn data into a clear read on what's working
- Experience partnering with designers to produce content assets
- Comfort with AI tools and a track record of using them to work faster or better
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience
Who you are
- Ownership mindset: You can take a content idea from strategy through to published, distributed, and measured, without needing every step handed to you
- Curious and technical: You're comfortable digging into a technical product and asking good questions until you understand it well enough to explain it simply
- Data-informed: You look at what the numbers say about your content and adjust, rather than writing and moving on
- Early adopter: You try new tools, including AI tools, before they're mainstream, and you bring what works back to the team
- Collaborative: You work well with designers, marketers, and people outside marketing, and you know how to ask for what you need
- Clear communicator: You write and explain things plainly, whether that's a blog post or an update to your team
- Strategist: You find opportunities in the data, and gaps in our overall marketing and bring them to light. You’re not a task rabbit.
