Introducing: Redesigned charts in Glide

Today, the redesigned Chart Component goes live, giving you a faster, more dynamic way to visualize your data in Glide.

These new features simplify data visualization and give you more options for filtering and displaying your data. You now have more chart types, better customization options, and support for sourcing data from any table, making it easier to build clear, interactive dashboards.

What’s new

Here is what we’ve added to Glide’s Chart Component:

Automatic data aggregation

The updated Chart Component automatically groups and summarizes your data for you. Now, there’s no need to create Helper tables or use Rollups.

More chart types and color options

Choose from bar, line, area, scatter, and stacked charts. Mix and match different chart types in a single view and customize colors to match your brand or highlight specific data.

Time-series filters

Quickly slice your data by day, week, or month, such as “past 7 days” or “last month.” Explore trends and patterns in your data without manually setting up any formulas.

Source data from any table

You can now create charts independent of a screen’s data source. Pull from any table in your app to keep dashboards clean, modular, and focused.

Visualize your data more dynamically

Whether you're tracking sales, investments, or project progress, the new Charts Component gives you and your users greater control over your data—and clearer insights from it.
