Faster reading of big spreadsheets, Workflows and Integrations out of beta, and 20 smaller improvements and fixes.

The agent reads big spreadsheets faster

Ask the agent about the charts, tables, images, or comments in a large spreadsheet, and it now reads through it much faster.

Workflows and Integrations are out of beta

Workflows and Integrations are now a full part of Glide. Ask the agent to build workflows that run on a schedule, from a webhook, or from a button in your app, and connect them to the tools your team already uses.

Improvements

  • When the agent finishes changing your app, the preview now reloads on its own to show the change.
  • When you share a link to a public app in Slack, iMessage, or anywhere else, it can now show a proper preview with the app's name and a short description. Just ask the agent to set them, then publish.
  • Signing up from a template link and installing apps from the App Store finish sooner.
  • Voice dictation connects faster when you click the mic and captures your very first recording, without flashing an error as it starts.
  • A new workspace's home screen leads with what to do first, like uploading a spreadsheet or connecting your tools, instead of an empty grid.
  • New signups get a setup step that suggests workflows based on the tools they picked, or lets them describe a task to automate.
  • You can filter the App Store by several categories at once, with the rest under a "More" menu.
  • Workspaces with hundreds of projects load their app list more reliably.
  • Text on badges and initial avatars in your apps meets accessibility contrast standards once each app is rebuilt.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where an emoji or other special character could leave a chat stuck, with the agent unable to reply.
  • Fixed tabs left open for days getting stuck on a loading screen.
  • If publishing your app hits a brief timeout on Glide's side, it now retries on its own instead of failing.
  • The Data editor's table list now loads on very large databases, and waits when your database is busy instead of repeating errors.
  • Fixed credit top-ups getting stuck for accounts that buy many in one billing cycle.
  • Fixed new chats pulling in attachments from another chat.
  • Fixed an issue where the agent could report your app as unverified even though it loaded fine.
  • Fixed apps showing out-of-date data right after a live update finishes.
  • Fixed the "workflow turned off" email arriving more than once.
  • When you connect a tool in chat, Glide now asks you up front to approve every permission it needs, and details you type into the connection form are no longer cleared partway through.
  • The agent now suggests only integrations you can connect in Glide, and tells you when a service isn't available.
  • Numerous performance, security, and agent improvements behind the scenes.

Glide turns spreadsheets into beautiful, intelligent apps.
