Managing Your Plan
The Your plan section of the Billing screen shows your organization’s current plan, cost, and credit allowance. Only admins can see billing information.
Upgrading your plan
To move to a higher tier, click Upgrade in Your plan, or select View all plans to see the full list of options. The Update plan dialog shows the new monthly price, the amount charged today, and the credits added to your balance now. Credits added mid-cycle are prorated: you receive part of the monthly allowance immediately, and the full allowance starts at your next renewal. Click Purchase now to confirm.
Changing your plan
To change your credit allowance or the number of team members, select View all plans on the Billing screen. Open the dropdown on the plan card, choose the combination you need, and click the button below the dropdown; when you choose fewer team members or a lower credit allowance, it reads Downgrade. Confirm the change in the Update plan dialog.
Downgrades don’t require contacting support. When you downgrade:
- The new monthly price starts at your next renewal. There is no charge today and no refund for the current cycle.
- Your monthly credit allowance changes at renewal; the current cycle’s credits are unaffected.
- Your seat count updates immediately. Adding seats back later is billed at the prorated rate.
Changing your plan to a tier with higher credits applies to every month going forward until you downgrade or cancel your plan. To make a one-time credit purchase, go to Extra credits and click Buy credits.
Canceling your plan
To cancel your plan, click Cancel subscription at the bottom of the Billing screen, then click Cancel plan to confirm. You keep access to your plan’s features until the end of the current billing cycle.
When your organization moves to the Free plan at the end of the billing period, the admin who canceled the plan will keep their seat. Everyone else moves to a waiting-for-a-seat state and can’t do anything in the organization until an admin gives them a seat. While waiting to be re-added, members retain their previously granted permissions.
When you upgrade to a plan with enough seats for everyone waiting, GlideOS adds them all back with their previous roles. They can sign in again without a new invite.
If the new plan doesn’t have room for everyone waiting, GlideOS adds no one back. An admin gives out the seats instead: open Members in Settings, then click Add to team beside each waiting member. Each one shows the role they’ll return to.
Managing Your Billing
You can update your billing information, change your payment method, and view payment history and invoices through the Stripe customer portal. To open it, click Manage in Your plan on the Billing screen.
Updating your billing information
To update the billing contact information, click Update information in the Billing Information section of the Stripe customer portal. You can update the email address, mailing address, and tax ID. Click Save when you’re done.
Updated billing information will only appear on future invoices and receipts. Previous invoices and receipts will show whatever billing information was entered at the time the document was generated.
Changing your payment method
To change your payment method, click Add payment method in the Payment Method section of the Stripe customer portal. Enter the relevant details and select Add. Glide accepts valid credit cards and Cash App Pay as payment. If you have an existing Link account for faster checkout, you can use that as well.
Viewing your payment history and invoices
The Invoice History section of the Stripe customer portal lists all your previous charges and invoice dates. Click any entry, and a new window will open with your Stripe invoice. You can download it as a receipt or an invoice.
