Credits are the monthly budget your plan includes for building with Glide.
A credit is a unit Glide uses to measure AI building work.
When you chat with Glide, ask for changes, generate an app, or use the agent to help build, that work can use credits.
Credits can be used in two ways:
Glide tracks AI work used while building and AI work used by apps you create.
Different requests can use different amounts of credits. Larger files, more complex changes, longer build sessions, and heavier AI features usually use more.
You can see your credit usage in your billing settings.
You may also see a credit indicator near the chat box when your remaining credits are getting low.
If you use all of your credits, Glide will stop new AI build requests until you have more credits available.
If you are on Free, upgrade to a paid plan to keep building.
If you are on a paid plan, you can buy more credits or wait for your monthly credits to reset.
Monthly credits included with your plan reset each month. Unused monthly credits do not carry over to the next month.
Extra credits you buy separately do carry over. They do not expire at the end of the month.
Yes, paid plans can buy extra credits.
Extra credits are used after your monthly credits and do not reset each month.
