Facilitators at Dida Academy support students through mentorship, project planning, workshops, and field trips. As soon as the lockdown started, Holly Phillips built an extensive app to keep students connected with the school & each other.
We had a meeting on the Friday to design our virtual program - knowing we had to go live the next week. We started making the app on Monday and were onboarding students by Wednesday. We now run our program virtually using only Glide & Zoom.
